Hi Indiana District! My name is Nifemi Oluwagbegmiro, and I’m sincerely excited and honored to serve as your 2026–2027 Indiana District Secretary/Treasurer. In my role, my main responsibilities are taking and maintaining meeting notes during Board and Executive meetings, managing our district budget, and creating and maintaining our District Google Drive so that all of our resources and information are organized and accessible. I’m so excited for this opportunity to serve once again on the INDB, this time as a member of the Executive Board!

One of the things I love most about this position is the opportunity to help teach and support young servant leaders, just like I was taught when I first started high school. As Secretary/Treasurer, I have the important responsibility of managing information that can help our Lieutenant Governors, clubs, and future District Boards succeed. While a lot of this work happens behind the scenes, I believe it plays an important role in keeping our district organized, informed, and prepared for the future.

A big goal of mine this year is to properly maintain and organize our district’s information while ensuring transparency, accuracy, and accessibility. I want our resources to be easy to find, our records to be reliable, and our finances to be properly maintained. Whether it’s helping a Lieutenant Governor find an important resource, keeping track of our district budget, or preserving information for the next District Board, I want to make sure that the work we do this year creates a strong foundation for the leaders who come after us.

I deeply love Key Club because of how much it has taught me and how many amazing people it has brought into my life. As I begin my senior year at Shortridge High School, I look back fondly on joining Key Club as a sophomore and think about how many incredible servant leaders have helped shape me into the person and lead er I am today. From serving as my club’s Secretary, to becoming the Land of Lakes Division VDL Governor, and now serving as your District Secretary/Treasurer, it is amazing to see how far this organization has taken me. Every position has taught me something new, and I hope to give back to the organization that has given me so much.

As your District Secretary/Treasurer, I promise to stay organized, remain transparent, support our Lieutenant Governors and clubs, and make sure that the information and resources of our district are maintained for both our current and future leaders.
