Hello! My name is Paige Hein and I am honored to serve as the Indiana District Governor of Key Club International during the 2023-2024 service year. I am excited to announce my Governor's Project is an online fundraiser and service challenge dedicated to environmental sustainability! The Indiana District has from now until the end of the 2024 District Leadership Convention (March 3rd, 2024) to reach our goal of $2,500 raised and 750 sustainable service hours completed. This fundraiser will be providing vital support to the youth programs of the organization Earth Charter Indiana, a chapter of Earth Charter International, which is guided by the principles of the Earth Charter declaration at the Peace Place in The Hague, Netherlands, in 2000. The principles of the Earth Charter are as follows:
1) Respect and care for the community of life
2) Ecological integrity
3) Social and economic justice
4) Democracy, non-violence, and peace
Through Earth Charter Indiana's (ECI) youth programs, school programs, community programs and more, they create intergenerational action and education in the face of our climate crisis, mitigate the effects of climate change, and promote sustainable, peaceful, and just living in Indiana. ECI is a non-profit with 501(c)(3) status, so all donations are tax-deductible! Please keep your email donation receipt as your official record to claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes. Along with your donation being tax-deductible, you have the opportunity to sponsor at the levels listed on the next page to receive additional benefits (although any donation amount is greatly appreciated):
