My name is Selma Akgul and I’m currently a sophomore at Terre Haute South Vigo High School. I’m the Lieutenant Governor of my district, the Collegiate Division. I joined Key Club earlier this year and made unforgettable memories within my district. A fun fact about me is that I love baking. I try to come up with new recipes every month. My current favorite would be my cinnamon carrot cake. Our goal as the Service Committee, for the upcoming year, is to find Service projects that will benefit the needs of others while fitting in with Key Club’s norms. To achieve this goal it is important to keep a close relationship with the people in my committee and to brainstorm ideas as a whole. It’s always better to start small, so we are looking into how to start the Service project within our clubs. Currently, we are trying to come up with ideas to start the involvement of our committee, while encouraging Key Clubers to become members of Service. |
