What is Key Leader?

​Key Leader is an leadership event open to ALL highschoolers, not just Key Clubbers. This is a great program to maximize your leadership potential and learn what it means to be a servant leader. Key Leader empowers students to become more caring and confident leaders. Through team building activities, group discussions, and personal reflections, participants discover the benefits of Service Leadership! We hope to see you at Key Leader next year!

Key Leader 2023 Recap

Key Leader 2023 was such a success! The chilly weather did not stop us from doing ropes courses in the woods and becoming better leaders! Our lead facilitator, Chris Niles, taught almost 70 student about what it takes to be a Key Leader and getting out of your comfort zone. He highlighted the 5 pillars of a Key Leader: Service Leadership, Integrity, Communication, Respect, and Excellence. And most importantly, student got to interact with one another to create meaningful friendships and put their leadership skills to use! Thank you to all the adults and staff at Kiwanis and Camp Tecumseh who helped make this weekend possible!
